About the Department
The Retail function provides Personal and Business Banking customers with financial solutions tailored to their needs. We help them manage their money wisely and meet their financial goals through an extensive range of products and services. These include deposit, insurance, secured and unsecured loans, investment and wealth advisory services.

Personal Financial Services
We design and provide products and services that empower our customers to enjoy greater banking convenience while they extract more value from their money. In particular, we are focused on promoting and developing healthy saving and investment practices across generations.

Job Responsibilities
- Identify investments and partnership opportunities in the travel and transport pillar (consisting of across offline travel agencies, online travel agencies, airlines, hotels, attractions etc )
- End to end acquisition of travel/transport merchants to drive credit card sales, to be the best in market and experience for UOB Cardmembers.
- Responsible for managing UOB key merchants and strategic accounts.
- Enhance competitive advantage and initiate renewal of yearlong/tactical offers with merchants across the travel pillar to always have the most deals.
- To analyze sales, track billings and evaluate partnerships on an on-going basis.
- To run campaigns to drive higher share of voice and boost sales.
- To evaluate and promote deals by having effective communications and work in close liaison with marketing team to identify new channels, and work on communications across all channels ( ATL, BTL, digital ) and coordination with merchants on approval.
- To support dine portfolio
- Collaborate with usage team and other UOB stakeholders to drive strategic alignment to all common initiatives and priorities.
- Manage relationships with external and internal stakeholders, to support cross functional roles.

Job Requirements
- 5-8 years of related usage experience preferred.
- Effective and clear communication skills, written and spoken.
- Strong negotiation skills.
- Good presentation skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft words, PowerPoint and excel.
- Knowledge of general banking operations.
- Team player.
