About the Department
The Technology and Operations function is comprised of five teams of specialists with distinct capabilities: business partnership, technology, operations, risk governance and planning support and services. We work closely together to harness the power of technology to support our physical and digital banking services and operations. This includes developing, centralising and standardising technology systems as well as banking operations in Singapore and overseas branches.
Roles & Responsibilities:
1.Team Lead supporting all Structured Trade Services & Commercial & Corporate Banking special handling customers.
2.Provide strong support and establish good partnership with all stakeholders in meeting their requirement for Trade Finance Product
3.Perform detailed checks for Back to Back LC terms and conditions, Vetting/matching of Import/Export LC terms, ensure documents checking with no discrepancies & follow up on timely settlement for both Import and Export products.
4.Ensure all trade applications are in compliance with the organization's internal and external compliance including Price check & vessel checks
5.Escalate and highlight irregularities on daily trade transaction and report any compliance breech including sanction related issues.
6.Prepare daily/monthly reports on a timely and accurate basis with minimal supervision.
7.Be involved proactively in ad hoc projects, assignment and other trade related duties.
1.At least 3 years experience and in-depth knowledge in Trade Finance/Commodity/Export-Import operations and LC document checking.
2.Strong analytical and problem solving skills
3.Strong leadership and ability to work with all levels.
4.Strong interpersonal and communication skills
5.Good English and Chinese Language literacy
6.Strong knowledge in UCP/ISP/ISBP/URR/URC/INCOTERMS & MAS/ABS guidelines
7.CDCS certified preferred
8.Basic accounting and treasury knowledge
9.Strong Strategic planning and organizing skills
