VP, Compliance Programme Manager, Group Compliance

Business Function

Responsibilities

  • Plan and manage tasks and milestones for implementation and enhancements of Conduct Surveillance Program (Trader Surveillance, PIPS, etc) and Digitize Legal & Compliance Program and other related initiatives.
  • Understand business, operational and technical processes of required business functions within the program as well as desired target state to be achieved across the bank
  • Actively engage all stakeholders to develop requirements and identify risks/issues.
  • Collaborate with technology partners to drive development and priorities including enhancements required of existing systems
  • Manage program backlogs, issues and risks, and work with relevant parties to resolve and mitigate future occurrences.
  • Lead weekly stand up meetings, highlight progress, key issues/risks
  • Plan and execute user acceptance tests, dress rehearsals and cutover/live verification activities.
  • Lead post-implementation stabilisation activities as necessary
  • Communicate effectively at all forums including presentation to management and stakeholders at program governance and other forums.
  • Contribute and implement relevant milestones related to LCS Platform as part of strategic bank-wide platform operating model


Requirements
  • Bachelor Degree in any related field.
  • Minimum 10 years' experience with proven track record of delivering projects to meet stipulated timelines with expected outcomes and quality.
  • Solid experience in business analysis and/or root cause analysis, ideally in the Financial Services industry.
  • Understand Agile methodology and partner with Technology and user teams to deliver outcomes.
  • Strong end-to-end understanding of Conduct Surveillance (Market Abuse, Employee Fraud, General Compliance) processes and functions is an advantage.
  • Excellent skills in Microsoft Office and project management tools (e.g. Jira, Confluence, Octane).
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills and can be relied upon to make quick, accurate and precise decisions.
  • Very good Relationship-building, conflict resolution and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to multi-task with good analytical and planning skills to effectively manage changing priorities.
  • Ability to interface on a professional level at all times with a variety of different personalities at different levels.
