Business Function

Group Technology and Operations (T&O) enables and empowers the bank with an efficient, nimble and resilient infrastructure through a strategic focus on productivity, quality & control, technology, people capability and innovation. In Group T&O, we manage the majority of the Bank's operational processes and inspire to delight our business partners through our multiple banking delivery channels.

Job Purpose

  • Drive the change management of SSB operations in consultation with various stakeholders from Operations, Business and Technology across Singapore and regional countries to deliver the stated operational benefits
  • Manage product backlog, prioritization with various stakeholders for the assigned platform
  • Be think-tank on vision and roadmap for the SSB touchpoint and build executable plan in close working with various stakeholders and inputs from Industry players and ecosystems
  • Deliver the assigned programs/projects in alignment with SSB vision and roadmap
  • Key Accountabilities
  • Identifying, defining and tracking the benefits and outcomes required of the programme assigned
  • Ensuring that maximum improvements are made in existing and new business operations as groups of projects deliver their products into operational use
  • Taking the lead on change management, ensuring that business as usual is maintained during the project delivery and the changes are effectively integrated into the operations (internal and external).
  • End to end responsibility to deliver the assigned programs/projects including business case, project delivery, delivery of last mile/ business benefits
  • Responsibilities
    • An integral part of job responsibility is to enable changes resulting from the programme to be firmly embedded in the Operations â€" both internal and external parties
    • Have detailed knowledge of the business environment and direct business experience - in particular, need an understanding of the management structures, politics and culture of the organization owning the programme
    • Have effective marketing and communication skills to sell the programme vision to staff at all levels of the organisation
    • Have basic knowledge of relevant management and business change techniques such as business process modeling and re-engineering
    • End to end responsibility to deliver the assigned programs/projects including business case, project delivery, delivery of last mile/ business benefits
    Requirements
    • Strong leadership skills with sound, analytical and decision making abilities
    • Excellent inter-personal and communication skills in dealing with all levels of staff and external parties
    • Strong people-relations and influencing skills
    • Demonstrate Critical thinking: ability to suggest improvements and identify risks
    • Strong Service orientation: ability to prioritize, ability to manage internal clients’ expectations and professionalism
    • A highly organized individual with solid project management skills
