VP/ AVP, Process Transformation Lead, CBG Ops, Technology and Operations

Business Function

Group Technology and Operations (T&O) enables and empowers the bank with an efficient, nimble and resilient infrastructure through a strategic focus on productivity, quality & control, technology, people capability and innovation. In Group T&O, we manage the majority of the Bank's operational processes and inspire to delight our business partners through our multiple banking delivery channels.

Job responsibilities

  • Develop and drive digital strategy for Consumer Banking Operations.
  • Lead and prepare project materials for sponsors, steering committees, and management discussions.
  • Oversee project implementation to ensure timely and successful delivery of objective.
  • Manage cross functional stakeholders in operations, technology, business and regional project team to resolve project related issues and conflicts.
  • Re-engineer and transform operation process to remove failure demand or wastage.
  • Analyze, document and review business requirements and system test plan to ensure completeness and delivery of excellent customer & users experience.
  • Introduce relevant frameworks to optimize operational process to drive productivity &/or cost savings.

Job Requirements

  • University Degree in Business, Finance, Information Technology or related discipline.
  • Scrum Master Certifications will be an added advantage.
  • Minimum 8 years of experience across project management, business analysis, customer journeys, operating model design and process transformation with deep understanding of the consumer banking operations.
  • Strong leadership with demonstrated success in strategy, program management, and digitization with a track record of delivering impactful business programs while facing uncertainties.
  • Strong stakeholders engagement skills who works well across functional teams - product owners, operational teams, technical teams and external vendors / stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to resolve issues through structured problem solving, data-driven analysis, and negotiation of outcomes between various stakeholders.
  • Driven, strategically focused, self-motivated and organized with strong attention to detail.
  • Fluent in both Traditional Project Management Lifecycle and Agile Methodology / Design Thinking.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills including presentation skills.
