Unsecured Lending Product Head
The Singapore Country Unsecured Lending Product Head is a senior management level position responsible for managing a broad range of Product Management employees, setting strategy and providing direction, leadership and budgetary management, etc. Additionally, this role will be responsible for the development of product plans, strategies, and tactics while coordinating product lines through product life-cycles in coordination with the broader Product Management team. The overall objective of this role is to coordinate the promotion of products to develop new markets, increase share of market and obtain competitive position.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage multiple teams of professionals to accomplish established goals and conduct personnel duties for team (e.g. performance evaluations, hiring and disciplinary actions) as well as exercise control over resources, policy formation, and planning
  • Utilize specialty knowledge to review, analyze, and develop beyond existing solutions
  • Develop plans and execute functional strategies for large/complex country, as well as provide input into strategic decisions affecting job family or function within region/business
  • End to end responsibility for the product strategy, pricing & yield management for Unsecured lending and Ready Credit. Leading the business efforts on driving installment loans growth, ramping up core usage on Ready Credit, moving the levers on the Ready Credit Drivers and transforming the loans process with a focus on simplification and improving customer experience.
  • Ensure solid partnerships and cross selling opportunities across range of products such as banking products, cash management, foreign exchange, credit, capital markets, and wealth management to deliver comprehensive services and solutions for clients
  • Establish and maintain relationships with risk, business risk, compliance, and other relevant groups within Citi, as well as develop and ensure execution of the business strategy, and manage risk and compliance
  • Partner with other regional and country leaders to share best practices and drive business strategies, solutions, and client centric solutions to differentiate Citi in the marketplace and achieve substantial growth targets for the business
  • Engage in internal and external negotiations
  • Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency, as well as effectively supervise the activity of others and create accountability with those who fail to maintain these standards.
  • Manage the lifecycle strategy from acquisition through early client engagement and implement strategies to optimize portfolio performance
  • Assess relevant customer, competitor, and industry insights to help define strategies to improve client experience and portfolio growth
  • Advise and provide insight and recommendations on innovative and strategic product development, product targeting, and segmentation strategies as well as direct and oversee aspects of product development life cycle management including market demands, technology trends, and the competitive field
  • Provide subject matter expertise and execute on core marketing disciplines such as product development, price, promotions, platform and pillars, launching, and marketing to improve client experience and portfolio growth
  • Oversee product financial performance including identifying opportunities and gaps, and developing business strategies


Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of relevant experience
  • Experience managing in a large, complex and matrixed organization
  • Demonstrated knowledge and experience with the industry, banking, and investment products
  • Working knowledge of different systems, theories, and practices relevant to a function
  • Practical experience of multiple business cycles
  • Knowledge of industry and competitor products/services
  • Working knowledge of strategic direction of the function within the business as well as a solid conceptual/practical grounding in function and/or area of expertise
  • Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication
  • Demonstrated project management skills
  • Demonstrated internal and external negotiation skills


Education:

  • Bachelor's degree/University degree or equivalent experience
  • Master's degree preferred
