Functional Overview   

The role provides translation support and administrative support in WMD

Job description   

Responsibilities
•Provide translation support and serve as an interpreter for Nomura seniors in internal and client meetings
•Manage communication and translate from one language to another, namely Chinese, English and Japanese
•Intelligence gathering and materials preparation for Business Strategy Group
•Provide support in preparation of PowerPoint presentations for management meetings
•Liaise with Japan HQ for the group wide Wealth Management development
•Data collation relating to deposits and loans interest rate
•Coordinate and arrange internal and external meetings, video/conferences, trainings etc
•Provide administrative support to senior members and Japanese expatriates for daily administrative tasks, meetings, business trips and expense claims submission
•Arrange and handle logistics for business trips, travel & expense reimbursement claims submission
•Any other administrative support and/or ad hoc initiatives as required

Key Experience & Skills   

Requirements
•Bachelor degree with at least 3 years relevant experience in translation work
•Relevant work experience in administrative assistant duties
•Must have proficiency in English, Chinese and Japanese
•Excellent communication skills and ability to interact effectively and professionally with senior management, internal and external stakeholders Must be meticulous and detail-oriented with ability to juggle multiple priorities and competing deadlines
•Ability to work independently and flexibly as a team in supporting various activities
•Have strong sense of responsibility and attention to detail
•Proficiency in MS Office, with exceptional knowledge in MS Excel and MS PowerPoint
•Some travelling is required
