Test Manager

Test Manager

  • Develop, update, and maintain testing standards and procedures
  • To lead the change in testing methodologies such as Test before Dev to improve error removal rate in testing
  • Responsible to keep the tester's skills relevant through ongoing training
  • Review test cases and documentation
  • Record problems and issues in accordance with the project's defects and issue defects management plans
  • Document defects using the project's test defect management tools
  • Work with the application team to resolve any issues that arise out of the testing process


Qualifications
  • At least 5 years of experience in testing thought leadership, and mentoring a team of testers
  • Able to define test strategy, test approach and provide test planning covering test schedule, resourcing needs and testing effort.
  • Familiarity with testing as part of DevOps pipeline
  • Familiarity with microservices and API testing strategies
  • Familiarity with using Jira Zephyr for test management
  • In-depth knowledge in unit test, integration test, SIT, UAT, compatibility test, performance test, security test
  • Experienced in retail banking business processes and terminology
  • Experienced in creating, executing and troubleshooting using automation testing tools such as Cucumber, Selenium, Quick test pro, etc
  • Experienced with testing Mobile and Desktop applications
  • Communicating and inspiring confidence at a senior level with technical and non-technical audiences
