Temenos T24 - Business Analyst
Position Summary products:
- Responsible for multiple products: Establishing the practice in multiple products
- Defining and developing various services around/for the products and develop the competency required
- Drive partnerships with product vendors, plan strategy, budget and own/drive P&L of the practice
- Spearhead the competency across multiple accounts/geographies
- Interface between the product vendors and customers to drive product gap closure
- Provide consultancy during product configuration, installation, up-gradation, migration, releases, patches, etc.
Key Result Areas - Achieve budgeted revenue and profitability targets
- Establish with the clients / vendors and ensure on the quality and timely deliverables
- Actively lead business development activities
- Manage employee satisfaction, performance, employee development and retention
- Actively lead knowledge and competence development
Required Skills: - Minimum Relevant Work Experience required: 10+ years (preferably with a minimum of 4-5 years of T24 Business Analyst / Techno-Functional experience)
- Guru in T24 CORE setup & TAABs
- Guru across business units like credit, securities, lending & trade finance etc.
- Help Bank users in providing business solutions and BRD sign off
- Guru in review functional specification in terms of T24 world understandable
- Interact with Technical developer stream line the development as per the requirement.
- Interact with Testing Team to ensure the quality control
Roles and Responsibilities Business / Customer - Actively engage with the multiple product vendors in pursuing opportunities and driving alliance relationships
- Build multiple product competencies in specific domain/sub-segment by identifying technology and domain skills, creating knowledge assets, grooming and building teams capable of delivering solutions in the respective product space
- Build product specific solution enablers and offerings for customers based on market requirements
- Keep abreast of market trends, regulatory changes, technological advances/ product releases to incorporate appropriate changes in the consulting/service offering framework
- Research market trends, utilize insights gained from various customers to compare and suggest suitable product solutions
- Pursue and respond to RFPs and RFIs
- Participate in business development meetings and client meetings to "sell solutions"
- Work with account managers and client partners to support lead generation and business development activities
- Participate in steering committee meetings
- Interface with the client organization to provide updates and address queries
Project / Process: - Gain deep insights into client issues and potential risks based on subject matter expertise
- Facilitate functional guidance to the competency team on a need basis
- Define and develop various services around/for the products and develop the competency required
- Drive end to end product implementations involving interaction with multiple stakeholders
- Review identified risks and build mitigation plans for engagements
- Institutionalize and drive knowledge management processes across the product space
People / Team: - Implement and anchor key HR processes for the team - performance management, promotions, normalization of the team ratings and recommendations on rewards
- Manage and motivate performance / development of the team through reviews, coaching, mentoring and development
- Build a second line for all key roles and persons
- Ensure that training needs of the team are identified and met
- Participate in recruitment initiatives
- Facilitate knowledge sharing and capture within as well as across teams
- Participate in organizational initiatives
- Manage the retention of employees through motivation and other initiatives
Degree of Independence/Supervision required: - Requires minimal supervision on the job: Independently works under broad guidelines and follows principles of project management and quality guidelines when designing and implementing a solution; refers to supervisor typically for exceptions
- Independent decision areas:
- Propose customer specific functional solutions within the respective product space
- Reviews estimates and approves project plan
- Approval for change requests (in some projects)
- People decisions: Appraisal ratings, selection up to product consultants, R&R recommendations, promotion recommendations, leave approvals
Team Management Responsibilities: - Lead and manage multiple accounts
- Manage a team of 30 to 50 members
- Direct Reports: 3-6 Product Consultants
