Role Description: The Technology Business Manager will work within the Asia Pacific Technology COO team with a focus on Financial Management, Project Performance, Reporting and People strategy and managing strategic initiatives. Requirements: Ability to build strong stakeholder relationships. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Have strong aptitude for both logical and creative thinking. Have hands-on approach to work and 'can-do' attitude to start and finish ideas execution. Enjoy simplifying complex problems, tackling interesting and meaningful challenges. Are excellent communicator, self-driven and entrepreneurial with a strong sense of ownership. Highly collaborative, able to effectively navigate organization boundaries. This role will involve collaboration across regional and global teams, including consulting with stakeholders on new ways of working, financial management, functional planning, people-related matters etc. Good exposure to Project management concepts and methodologies is important to be able influence/report on projects effectively. The Technology Business Manager will be responsible for: Financial Management Tracking Total Cost of Ownership Manage and report on financial management indicators Manage budget and forecasting process Project Management and Reporting Management Manage highly complex special projects related to budget, business planning, risk-related items, regulatory items communications (presentations/speeches) and implementation of policies, standards, processes, and/or strategic projects. Manage risk related and governance reporting Manage and support project business cases Performance Management Assist to run and manage process improvement activities and quality assurance programs Assist to drive and monitor tactical improvement opportunities Work with senior management team to implement and enforce policies, standards, and processes that require in-depth knowledge of business or function roles and organizational design. Lead analysis and support operational performance service reviews including tracking metrics, balanced scorecard reporting and analysis Communication and Engagement Lead and work across internal agencies on communications related activities Assist to deploy Human Capital strategy and tactical programs including location analysis, training programs, diversity, and inclusion initiatives Assist and lead to help launch new initiatives including communication, employee engagement, internal marketing, or projects across regionally and globally Qualifications Bachelor's degree in business or technical-related discipline, or equivalent work experience required advanced degree preferred 10-15 years of experience Strong communicator who is extremely organized Highly motivated and self-starter BNY Mellon is an Equal Employment Opportunity Employer.
