We Offer

  • Manage a team that supports end to end new client accounts on-boarding process that inter alia covers client documentation, adverse news screening/name searches, data entry, providing guidance to Front Office on Source of Wealth (SoW), Source of Funds (SoF), plausibility assessments and Risk factors identification.
  • Act as a point of contact for concerns or issues from Front Office or various business partners.
  • Collaborate strongly with all actors in client on-boarding process such as Relationship Managers, Assistant Relationship Managers, Team Leaders, Market Heads, Business Managers, and colleagues form Compliance team.
  • Support change-the-bank projects in view of APAC division's strategic objectives and vision
  • Represent PB Client Onboarding Services in regulatory & audit initiatives
  • Represent Client Onboarding Services in various working groups and committees as nominated by Head of the Department
  • Take ownership of relevant procedural documentation and ensure procedures are updated on a timely basis
  • Drive delivery of training requirements and conduct training on client onboarding processes as required for the colleagues in Client Onboarding Services team as well as to Front Office staff
  • Drive and deliver continuous operational improvements, in view of the changing operating and regulatory environment
  • Uphold the highest standards of control, always keeping data integrity in mind while supervising day-to-day matters
  • Raise higher risk matters or regulatory questions to the Financial Crime Compliance management team

You Offer
  • You have 6-7 years of relevant experience in Client Due Diligence, Know-Your-Customer (KYC) or Anti-Money-Laundering (AML) in Banking & Finance in Private Banking/Wealth Management sector.
  • You have strong analytical skills, and have the ability to apply risk-based judgement in handling of complex cases or issues.
  • You are results oriented to enable sound implementation of control and compliance processes and procedures.
  • You have at least 3-4 years working experience in people management and have an excellent track record in leading small teams.
  • You have deep understanding of AML/CFT regulations and requirements in Asia-Pacific countries, notably Singapore, Hong Kong and international AML standards (FATF, Wolfsberg).
  • Team-player, you are committed to service delivery excellence and always having the bank and clients' best interests in mind.
  • You possess excellent communication skills, confident corresponding with Front Office partners and is an efficient solutions provider.
  • You have excellent attention to detail and controls, and can grasp new ideas and concepts quickly.
  • You have the ability to work under-pressure, lead people through change and yet execute in a precise and timely fashion.
  • You are a University Graduate with Bachelor of Law/Accounting/Business/Economics/Finance and related academic qualification.
  • You are competent in MS Office tools, particularly MS Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
