Team Head, Credit Adminstration, OCBC Yangon Branch
Credit Administration:
  • To provide timely, accurate and effective credit administrative support to business units
  • To review for correctness of loan documents against Credit Proposition and completeness of condition precedent items prior to activation of facilities
  • To ensure proposed credit facilities/conditions adhere with the Bank's policy guidelines, conditions of approvals and legal requirement and necessary approval have been obtained
  • To work with business units, lawyers and policy owners to resolve documentation matters
  • To activate and implement credit facilities upon completeness check
  • To work with Operations and Hubs on implementation, drawdown
  • To ensure covenants and exceptions are logged, monitor and follow-up promptly
  • To monitor and escalate overdue and excesses
  • To ensure daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual reports to Head Office, Central Bank of Myanmar and departments within the Branch are sent timely and accurately
  • To perform the roles of Facility Agent, Security Agent and Account Bank
  • To assist in maintaining the Data Quality of the Bank within the allowable threshold level
  • To safekeep and perform Custodian functions for credit files, loan and security documents
  • To ensure Business Contingency Plan for the department are up to date
  • To operationalize new processes with regards to changes or new products and services
  • To streamline processes and improve operational efficiency

Managing People:
  • To provide credit-admin related guidance and training to department staff as well as Branch staff
  • To promote teamwork among the staff in the department and with other departments
  • To lead by example and improve the team's overall morale and efficiency

  • To be familiar with host and home country's law and regulations
  • To ensure CAD Manual and BAU duties are updated with regulatory changes
  • To ensure the Branch is operating in compliance to host and home country's rules and regulations in term of documentation and reporting
  • To ensure no operational losses or regulatory breaches

  • To achieve satisfactory results in internal and external audits
  • To rectify issues identified during the audit within the time frame stipulated by Group Audit and to ensure that there are no repeat exceptions


  • Able to work under pressure
  • Responsible with good attitude
  • Able to lead the team effectively
  • Able to independently solve problems within area of expertise
  • Expertise in credit administration functions and understanding of local laws and regulations will be an added advantage
  • Based in Yangon, on local terms
