The Role Responsibilities
Responsible for creating, maintaining and reporting on a comprehensive issue register for Technology Services. This will include self-identified, Audit-identified and Externally identified issues, Risk Acceptances, Risk Waivers and Risk Dispensations. In addition, this role will establish and communicate Issue and Action Plan Quality standards to ensure that when issues are agreed and documented that they are factual, accurate and complete. In addition, this role will establish and communicate Action Plan quality standards that ensure that actions that are committed are SMART, include plans for evergreen and address the root cause of the issues noted. Finally, this role will be required to define and produce thematic analytics around issues to help Management identify and address thematic deficiencies in the control environment.
This role is part of the Technology Services Risk and Control team and will work to benefit all of TS.
This person will be accountable for establishing and maintaining the Issue Register which will be the core mechanism for driving the timely remediation of control design and implementation deficiencies across TS. In addition, this person will be tasked with establishing minimum quality baselines for all issue and action plan documentation for the TS organization.

Key stakeholders include TS R&C, T&I R&C, Infrastructure Architecture and Standards, GOR, CISO and TS UORMs and ORMs.
From time to time tactical and strategic risk initiatives may be required to address emergent issues that require leadership or involvement from this role and team.
Our Ideal Candidate
The successful candidate should have 2-4 years of experience in Technology Risk Management, Information Security or other related roles. The preferred candidate will have experience in Financial Services or other heavily regulated industries (e.g. Pharmaceuticals, Healthcare, etc.). Clear, Concise and Articulate communication of complex and conceptual topics is required for success.
In addition, the following qualifications are preferred:
1. Relevant industry certifications (e.g. CISSP, CRISC, CISA, etc.)
2. Experience with Technology Implementation or Operation
3. Process Design and Analysis
4. Documentation and Textual Analysis
5. Data Analytics
6. Experience negotiating with and influencing technical stakeholders
