Job description
Our Client, who operates as a bespoke ops-tech outsourcing solutions are looking for a Project Engineer to provide Operation and Support requirements for the Business Units

Job responsibilities
  • Work in a team and provide Operation and Support requirements for the Business Units (BU) Responsible for one or more Business Units system infrastructure landscape which span across different Premises / Cloud including
  • Administration of User Profile and Access Permission Providing IT systems setup and installation such as Mov e / Add/ Change Keeping
  • Track of hardware inventory / software license Perform periodic review on hardening, logs, patching for Windows and A V servers Attend to Incident / Service Request and fulfil SLA commitment
  • Ensure system & data backup are in place Create / Revie w / Update system documentation include configuration & schematic diagram
  • Support for readiness of Audit, BCP, DR and VAPT on system Coordinate and follow up with Corporate IT staff and BU staff in-charge on Corporate Office Automation (Such as Email, SAP, Network etc)
  • Provide necessary support to PMO team on new project
  • Rectify system infrastructure issue encountered by business applications
  • Ensure sufficient system capacity on current system can support new requirement
  • Validate and ensure new setup is in accordance to Company's policy and standard before handover to PMO team
  • Suggest and recommend for existing improvement in production in area of Fault Tolerance, Administration & routine maintenance tasks, access control and identity management, backup & restoration and monitoring of resources utilization
  • Extract useful information for capacity planning and service level reporting


Job requirements
  • Possess a Degree or Diploma in Information Technology or related fields
  • Hands-on experience across IT Infrastructure landscape components from PC, Server, Network, Storage, Database
  • Willing to learn and support in-house system
  • Strong knowledge in utilizing cloud services and tools in AWS, Microsoft Azure or Google Cloud platform an advantage.
  • Strong analytical, project management, communications and interpersonal skills
  • Must be willing to work outside normal business hours as needed
