What you'll do:

As a Shared Services Oversight Associate, you will play an integral role in supporting the smooth operation of essential business functions within the organisation. Your day-to-day responsibilities will involve monitoring service delivery metrics, collaborating with various teams to address operational challenges, and ensuring compliance with internal controls. You will be instrumental in driving process improvements by leveraging your analytical skills and industry knowledge. By participating in stakeholder meetings and supporting audit activities, you will contribute directly to maintaining high standards of accuracy and efficiency across all shared services functions. Oversee daily operations of shared services functions, ensuring all processes are executed accurately and efficiently in accordance with established policies and procedures.

  • Monitor service delivery metrics and performance indicators, identifying areas for improvement and collaborating with relevant teams to implement effective solutions.
  • Support internal audits and compliance reviews by preparing documentation, responding to queries, and facilitating communication between departments.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to resolve issues promptly, maintaining open lines of communication to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Assist in developing and updating standard operating procedures (SOPs) for shared services activities, ensuring they reflect current best practices and regulatory requirements.
  • Participate in regular meetings with stakeholders to review service levels, discuss challenges, and share feedback aimed at enhancing overall performance.
  • Contribute to process improvement initiatives by providing insights based on data analysis and operational experience.
  • Maintain accurate records of transactions, reconciliations, and other key documentation required for reporting purposes.
  • Provide guidance and support to junior team members, fostering a collaborative environment focused on mutual success.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, regulatory changes, and emerging technologies relevant to shared services oversight.
