We are looking for a senior Technology Strategist to define and evolve the company’s Technology and Digital Strategy in alignment to overall enterprise strategy. This role will lead the execution of our Strategy through the implementation of our multi-year technology roadmaps and agenda; with the eventual goal of being a high performing tech-driven winning organization.

 

Responsibilities

 

Technology and Business Strategy Alignment
•Define the technology strategy for the company and ensure overall alignment to the company’s overarching VMOS (Vision, Mission, Objectives, and Strategy) and Operating Model
•Shape this strategy by closely consulting and collaborating with both internal and external constituents (e.g. Senior Leadership, Enterprise Strategy, and Lines of Business)
 


Transformation Roadmaps
•Envision and conceptualize multi-year technology and digital roadmaps to drive strategic business outcomes
•Drive strategic differentiation by identifying and exploring new technology and innovation
•Develop and implement strategies to attract and maintain a highly skilled and engaged workforce with a sense of ownership enabling the company to be a high performing tech-driven organization and a great place to work

 

Governance
•Track performance against technology roadmap and strategic programmes/ projects
•Assess and steward department’s performance and correspondingly publish half-year and full-year performance reports
•Provide guidance of decision-making frameworks and forums
 


Innovation Culture
•Breed and inculcate an innovative culture where technology and data are strategically leveraged to drive business out-performance
•Showcase and evangelize technology innovations by conducting roadshows, hackathons, seminars and events

 

Requirements
•15+ years of professional experience (consulting or new technologies preferred)
•Demonstrated experience in a technology strategy, architecture or similar role within a large enterprise environment, taking a leadership position in one of the following domains: AI Machine Learning, AI Predictive Models, Cognitive Computing, Cloud Computing, Cyber Security, Data Science/Big Data, Robotics, Internet of Things (IoT) and/or Software Development
•Demonstrated business and technology/digital transformation experience across a range of industries and organizations
•Demonstrated experience in the development of strategies, roadmaps, policies, principles, business and financials to support future technology investment planning
•Strong understanding and interest of industry trends and emerging technology solutions  
•Minimum Bachelors’ degree (preferred in technical or quantitative fields e.g. Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Telecommunications, etc.) or in the case of other fields (e.g. Economics, Finance)
•Strong leadership communication skills and ability to lead change
•Proven ability to thrive in a work environment that is international, multi-cultural, commpetitive and challenging
