JOB OVERVIEW:

We are looking for a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual who will contribute to the overall success of the Dealing Room Support, in Singapore and Hong Kong ensuring specific individual goals, plans, initiatives are delivered in support of the team's business strategies and objectives. Also, ensuring all activities conducted are in compliance with governing regulations, internal policies and procedures.

This person is also responsible for first level technical system support to all production systems being used by the users on the Singapore trade floor.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:

1St and 2nd level Support and Management

  • Provide effective day to day end user technical support to all the trade floor users on production systems including; PCs, printers, applications and telephone systems.
  • Liaise and work with 2nd and 3rd level support when necessary on problem resolution;
  • Liaise with external vendors/providers for support of external/third-party systems;
  • Escalation to Manager for assistance and/or escalation purposes, to quickly analyze problems and resolve escalated issues.
  • Escalates all high priority issues affecting availability, customer impact and user impact to the Manager.

System Technical Support

  • Carry out functional and regression testing on various trading systems, including market connectivity, order execution, quote management, auto-negotiation, STP, trade flow analysis, and the use of automated trading tools
  • Fosters ongoing communication and close working relationships with management in all support units as it relates to System Availability, Incident Management, Event Management, Request Fulfillment, Problem Management and Change Management.

Incident Management Review

  • Performs reviews of tickets logged to ensure that the incidents are followed up and closed in a timely manner.
  • To regularly review system security patching results and ensure that high risk vulnerabilities are addressed promptly.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Undergraduate Degree in Computer Science or technical equivalent
  • 5 - 7 years technical work experience
  • 3 - 5 years trade floor support experience
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple complex initiatives
  • Trading systems: Fidessa and/or other equity trading systems, Refinitiv FXT
  • Market data systems: Bloomberg and Refinitiv Eikon
  • Experienced and skilled working with Wintel desktops/laptop
