Senior Product Manager

In this role you will develop a comprehensive regional product strategy based on a clear understanding of our customers business needs, our existing and emerging competitors and the opportunities available in new geographical and vertical markets.

You will grow software and services revenues and sales through defining and implementing product strategy, driving go to market, product launches and product roadmap and development plans for the Decision Analytics business in Asia Pacific.

The role will report to the Regional Director, Product and Proposition, Decision Analytics for Asia Pacific, and work closely with peers in the Product and Propositions team and key business stakeholders across Asia Pacific.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
• Build and maintain a deep understanding of vertical market sectors that are important to Experian, our client businesses in these sectors and the issues and challenges they face and our sector competitors to inform our product strategy; • Lead the development of a regional product strategy and contribute to the development of a global product strategy that reflects our customers' requirements and local market priorities; • Develop, maintain and implement a value based pricing strategy across channels and educate sales teams in how to increase the quantity, size and margin contribution of product sales; • Manage a virtual product P&L tracking product performance, contribution to company revenue, and market position. Recommend product, sales or marketing changes to maximize value and increase product penetration; • Provide regular briefings to regional leadership on global product strategy and recommendations on managing regional impacts of the global strategy. • Develop comprehensive go to market plans with sales leaders and other business stakeholders. Agree resourcing and supporting activities to ensure the plan is executed in a timely and effective way; • Coordinate the development and implementation of marketing initiatives to support product promotion including collateral, trade shows, press releases, product briefs, and corporate intranet. Attends trade shows and conferences to promote product; • Support product sales activities by providing product expertise, preparing and updating product information, conducting sales training, and where appropriate participating in client presentations; • Track, analyse and report product pipeline and performance against sales targets. Actively participate in product win/loss reviews to help understand shifts in market needs and inform ongoing development of our product strategy and development roadmaps; • Participate in key client and early adopter projects and in a range of delivery project reviews to help ensure customer satisfaction. Use this information to update product SWOT, go to market and sales strategies as appropriate. • Act as voice of the customer to ensure our product development, enhancement and localization priorities reflect our customers business requirements and support our business growth objectives; • Agree plans for core software development and localization with global teams that reflect regional priorities; • Manage the localization, packaging and rollout of new products and enhancements to existing products. • Build and maintain strong working relationships with peers and stakeholders internally in our global functions and across our 4 regions and with key clients across the region; • Participate in industry bodies and steering groups; • Attend and present at key industry conferences and forums; • Regularly author and address current and emerging industry trends in whitepapers to promote Experian thought leadership. • Facilitate and drive performance management processes • Champion a culture where the fair treatment of customers is at the heart of the Experian business. Ensure that by leading by example, you adhere to all regulatory requirements and apply appropriate controls in the interests of customers. Through the adoption of a top down approach, demonstrate a culture where all of our people understand their regulatory obligations, including what the fair treatment of customer's means to them and our organisation.


• Proven successful experience in product marketing and/or product management in a senior role • Ability to develop a clear growth focused product strategy and execute an effective go to market plan reflecting local market needs. • An enthusiastic communicator with strong written and verbal communication skills able to impart key messages and information to a broad specialist and non-specialist audience.
