This position is to manage bespoke discretionary portfolios and participate actively in portfolio reviews and other client engagements. Bespoke mandates refer to customized discretionary portfolios tailored to the specific needs of some of the biggest clients in DPM. The key duties include communicating market views and portfolio strategies, conducting portfolio reviews through one-on-one meetings and publications, and managing portfolios of multi asset class mandates, albeit with a focus on equities. The PM will be dealing with some of the biggest clients in DPM, and expected to participate in mandate pitches, contribute actively to process improvement projects and champion new mandate initiatives.


  • To construct and manage DPM bespoke portfolios based on pre-determined models, subject to each mandate's specific requirements
  • To contribute to the construction of equities model via country/sector views and securities selection
  • To communicate confidently and regularly in portfolio review meetings with clients, which include both equity and multi-asset mandates
  • To write regular client reports, provide analysis on portfolio performance and participate in regular presentations to the front office
  • To participate in mandate pitches including equity and multi-asset mandates to prospective HNWIs and institutions
  • To participate and contribute to process improvement projects
  • To champion new mandate initiatives

  • At least 8 years of Global Equities portfolio management/research experience in buyside houses and/or wealth management, with no less than 5 years in a Portfolio Management capacity.
  • Experience in an environment that is exposed to portfolio management in global financial markets across asset classes, as well as experience in an environment requiring strong interpersonal and presentation skills
  • Strong analytical and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to work independently and multi-task.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills
  • Good, relevant under-graduate degree (business, finance)
  • CFA/CAIA holder (preferred)
