As a Portfolio Management Specialist within the Portfolio Management Hive of STS you will be part of a cross-functional agile squad working closely with squad members and collaborating with colleagues in other squads in the wider STS space to support the efficient execution of a book of work spanning a variety of initiatives covering applications and infrastructure security solutions.

We are looking for talented individuals, with a drive for team success and continuous improvement. If you possess traits and experience that match most of the below, we’d love to hear from you:

  • Experience in Agile delivery (specific Scrum Master experience preferred)
  • Confident and skilled at identifying and navigating through road-blocks and impediments
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to ‘coach’ teams on agile practices to support the Squad to deliver maximum business value through Sprints
  • Self-assured, with the confidence to be the voice of reason & authority while maintaining a focus on Servant Leadership
  • Conflict resolution skills
  • Robust domain knowledge in order to understand Squad goals and output
  • Promotes innovative thinking and self-development, is willing to try new things in the interests of improvement
  • Strong organizational abilities while remaining flexible and persistent.
  • Prior experience on managing a scrum team in at least 2 large scale Security Technology projects
  • Certified Scrum Master - Mandatory
  • Strong Cyber Security knowledge and background.
  • Experience with cloud technologies.
  • Expert in techniques to fill in gaps in Scrum, and ability to determine what is scrum and what is not
  • Experience with successful Agile techniques and Ability to work with and lead a team (servent leader)
  • Strong communication, interpersonal and mentoring skills and ability to adapt to a changing environment
  • Self-motivation and ability to stay focused in the middle of distraction
  • Strong sense of personal ownership and responsibility in accomplishing the organisation’s goal. Exudes confidence and will roll-up his/her sleeves to drive success
  • Able to get things done in a quick-paced environment. Be transparent and open around what doesn’t work and what does
  • Excellent organizational and leadership skills with ability to manage multiple deadlines and effectively prioritise
  • Ability to lead and control programme and/or project management in the context of a significant amount of change
  • Excellent communication skills - oral, written and presentation; technical reporting writing across various types of tareget audiences.
  • Diploma or Bachelor Degree in Engineering, Computer Science/Information Technology or its equivalent
