An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Operational Continuity team in the Chief Operating Office (COO). The position will play an important role in ensuring SCB compliance with PRA Operational Continuity in Resolution (OCIR) requirements by maintaining a Service Catalogue codifying the Group Operating Model and enabling continued demonstration of SCB Group's resilience and resolvability. The role-holder will partner with stakeholders across the Group to integrate the Service Catalogue at the core of the Group operating model, identifying innovative uses for the data and realising incremental benefits to the Bank, as well as supporting regulatory submissions and Group strategic initiatives.

Responsibilities:

Governance, Communication & Regulatory Engagement
* Represent OCIR at relevant governance forums
* Support OCIR Head to drive structured training and communications effort to ensure ongoing awareness and understanding of OCIR and its impacts across the Group
* Support OCIR Head to produce materials for regulatory submission and manage regulatory engagement
* Support OCIR Head to ensure ongoing maintenance of Operational Risk Framework for OCIR processes and mitigation of all applicable risks

BAU OCIR Processes
* Coordinate data gathering and assessment across all Businesses in all Countries to enable identification of Critical Economic Functions
* Coordinate all Businesses, Functions, and Countries to ensure ongoing maintenance of a Service Catalogue mapping processes to supporting teams, systems, vendors, and operational assets
* Financial Resilience - manage ongoing calculation of Liquidity required to maintain critical services in Resolution, partner with Group Treasury and Finance teams to ensure adequate liquidity deployed
* Manage the OCIR Group Operating Model Analytics Team and partner with the GBS OCIR Group Operating Model Analytics Team to ensure continuing maintenance of data, exception monitoring and provision of detailed reporting/MI as required
* Identify, report and track closure of any deviations to the Group defined standard Operating Model identified in the Service Catalogue

Benefits Realisation
* Coordinate with stakeholders to deliver known incremental benefits, eg use OCIR data to support:
o Business, Function and Country MTs to inform strategy, identify efficiency/risk mitigation opportunities
o Business Continuity Management MI and the broader Resilience agenda
o Group Corporate Development in divestment scenarios
o Operational Risk stress testing
* Coordinate with stakeholders to embed the Service Catalogue at the core of the Group Operating Model, identify and realise additional opportunities, eg aligning OCIR Service Catalogue with:
o Transfer Pricing / Intra-Group Charging / Cost of Process Programme
o SLA simplification and/or E-SLAs

Knowledge and Skills:

* Strong leader, able to energise, guide, and inspire a team to deliver challenging objectives
* Structured, organised, able to manage a diverse and stretching set of deliverables
* Ability to engage and influence senior stakeholders across Businesses, Functions and Countries
* Excellent written & verbal communication skills, able to express complex ideas simply & create compelling storylines
* Imagination and vision to identify innovative uses for the Service Catalogue; drive to realise them
* Ability to drive change in large, complex organisations
* Subject matter expertise in Recovery & Resolution Planning & Operational Continuity in Resolution a plus
* In-depth understanding of Standard Chartered Group's Businesses, footprint, and operating model
