The role will be responsible for overseeing a broad range of marine insurance matters, including Hull & Machinery (H&M), Protection & Indemnity (P&I), Freight, Demurrage & Defence (FD&D) and Loss of Hire (LOH) claims. You will manage claims from initial notification through recovery, support contract reviews, prepare and analyse claims data and reports, contribute to insurance renewals and liaise regularly with brokers, underwriters, P&I Clubs and internal stakeholders. In addition, you will be involved in insurance administration, budgeting support, process improvement initiatives and the continuous enhancement of insurance-related operations across the business.
To be successful, you should possess at least 7 years of relevant marine insurance experience, with proven hands-on expertise in handling H&M and P&I claims. A background within shipowners, P&I Clubs, marine insurers, brokers or maritime organisations would be highly regarded. You will be an analytical, detail-oriented and commercially minded professional with excellent stakeholder management, communication and reporting skills and the ability to thrive in a dynamic international environment. A qualification in Maritime Law or a related discipline would be advantageous.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a highly respected global organisation that offers a collaborative international environment, strong professional exposure and excellent long-term career development prospects.
