Great Opportunity for IT Support Specialist with Banking \ Trading industry exposure (Contract Role)
This role will be supporting the local team and closely working / supporting regional teams. This is a 6 months contract role to start with, which is extendable / convertible to permanent depending on the performance.
⦁ Provide L1-L2 desktop support
⦁ Assisting users in performing technical support which includes troubleshooting and maintenance of desktop, laptop, servers, printers etc
⦁ Provide end user technology support to the trading floor, local office users as well as the regional users
⦁ Configuring, testing and maintaining application software and system management tools
⦁ Manage and support the system infrastructure equipment such as servers, telecommunication equipment, hard disk, backup, Voice, etc
⦁ Installation of software to desktops and laptops
⦁ Involved in PC deployment activities
⦁ Provide administration and support on servers, Citrix, VMWare, Active Directory, VOICE, etc
⦁ Monitor and manage the incident management system and fulfilment of user request
⦁ Minimum 3 years of working experience of supporting in end users, servers, systems, AD and Citrix
⦁ Knowledge of network, local and wide area network, security systems
⦁ Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills and oversee each problem until resolution
⦁ Able to take initiative and work with minimum supervision
⦁ A responsible, self-motivated, meticulous and resourceful team player with good organizational and communication skills
⦁ Minimum Professional Diploma / Bachelors in IT related field.
