A leading financial service organisation is looking for a Senior Full Stack Java Developer who will be working with modern cloud-based tech including AWS, Spring MVC with a bunch of large SQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB and/or PostGIS databases. Be a part of a strong development team building a range of data-focused research products.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, codes, tests, corrects & documents complex programs and scripts from agreed specification and within organisation architectural principles
  • Shape the product by writing solid, clear and efficient code using Java (Spring Boot and Hibernate) and JavaScript (Angular)
  • Ensure every added feature meets established performance goals
  • Deliver code in an Agile software development using test-driven development methodologies
  • Developing new user-facing features using React.js
  • Manage the DevOps pipeline for automated deployments

Requirements:

  • Tertiary education in Computer Science, IT or related field
  • Hands-on experience in software development and strong development practices
  • Strong hands-on knowledge using JavaScript and React as a bonus
  • 2-3 years' experience in Full Stack Development using React (and related libraries like Redux, MobX, RxJS), Node.JS, Express.JS in a production environment
  • Knowledge of SQL and NoSQL relational databases like MongoDB, PostgreSQL
  • Proven experience working with cloud base infrastructure (AWS, Elasticsearch)
