Senior Business Manager - Technology

The client is a Global Bank and they are looking for a Senior Business Manager for their Technology division. This is a permanent position and based in Singapore.

Responsibilities

  • Help to develop, define and socialise the holistic Tech Strategy across the Technology Organisation
  • Help to design and execute Strategic communications and engagement workshops
  • Help to design and publish Strategy “Pulse” updates
  • Work with the Head of Department to identify and analyze strategic communication opportunities and identify gaps and actions required to deliver these strategies
  • Work with Operations Head and Data Owners to collate, refine, and ultimately communicate/deliver the Tech Division scorecard to the monthly Tech Division Governance Forum
  • Work with the central Tech Business Managemnt forum to collate, refine, and ultimately communicate the Tech MT objectives
  • Work with the central Tech Business Managemnt forum to collate, refine, and ultimately communicate key successes and Senior Management directive
  • Work with the central Tech Business Management forum to drive out the core Operating Model principles and key messages across the Tech Organisation
  • Work with Domain Heads and Business Management team to rationalize communication flows across Tech and ensure consistency of approach
  • Work with the Operational Design team to drive out the organisational principles and best practises (Agile, LEAN etc) and key messages across the  Tech Organisation
  • Ensure the appropriate overarching Tech governance, processes, controls & communications are in place to ensure that the budget is met and that the Tech Organisation is aware of their obligations
  • Oversee the implementation of Tech strategy to improve workforce analytics, productivity & reporting
  • Review various processes and work with functional heads to enhance communications

Requirements

  • Minimum 10 years experience in Banking, Information Technology
  • Minimum 7 years experience as Business Management communications or relevant role
  • Excellent organizational and leadership skills
  • Experience of developing a people strategy, influencing relevant stakeholders and decision makers, and executing decisions efficiently and consistently
  • Experience with defining and implementing operating models and driving organizational change
  • Ability to lead and control communication strategy in the context of a significant amount of change
  • Excellent organisational skills, with ability  to manage multiple deadlines and effectively prioritise
  • Excellent communication skills – oral, written and presentation
  • Good working knowledge of software application: Outlook (intermediate), Word (intermediate), Powerpoint (intermediate), Excel (intermediate)
  • Numeracy – Very strong understanding around budgeting and forecasting, particularly around headcount cost
