Senior Associate, Data Loss Prevention, Technology Services, Technology and Operations

Business Function

Group Technology and Operations (T&O) enables and empowers the bank with an efficient, nimble and resilient infrastructure through a strategic focus on productivity, quality & control, technology, people capability and innovation. In Group T&O, we manage the majority of the Bank's operational processes and inspire to delight our business partners through our multiple banking delivery channels.

Responsibilities

  • Establish and lead the Group's Data Loss Prevention (DLP) governance program in line with regulatory guidance, industry best practices, and other defined requirements;
  • Work with internal and external stakeholders to define policy, standards and controls, provide advisory and execute oversight for the DLP program to effectively manage internal and external (e.g service providers, partners) data loss risks;
  • Establish and report metrics to demonstrate effectiveness of the DLP governance program;
  • Ensure the bank's data loss monitoring platform(s) is continuously aligned to the bank's risk appetite on data loss management
  • Be a subject matter expert in the area of data loss management, including promoting education and awareness, and ensuring the bank's DLP program is aligned to the latest industry standards to mitigate emerging risk


Requirements

  • At least 2-5 years of relevant experience
  • Demonstrated working knowledge in data loss prevention and/or information risk management.
  • Demonstrated ability to engage and communicate with stakeholders to execute DLP and/or information risk initiatives
  • Demonstrated working knowledge of data loss monitoring platforms e.g. Symantec DLP
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications and/or demonstrated work experience, including stints in operational risk and information risk management functions in financial institutions
  • Sound knowledge of banking and other financial services products
  • Strong inter-personal skills and good stakeholder management
  • Strong oral/written communication skills
