SVP, Ecosystems Manager - Digital Solutions, Institutional Banking Group (IBG)

Business Function

The Institutional Banking Group's (IBG) Digital team strategizes and drives the Digital roadmap to lead the digital transformation of the IBG business globally.
Govern and enable the engagement with various business partners and groups, client coverage, core product, country and regional sales, technology, operations
and control partners. Ensuring the operating model in collaboration with all stakeholders is strictly followed to our digital framework to build the Eco-Systems,
Acquire via the appropriate digital channels, Transact and Engage with the client in the most meaningful way.

The Digital Solutions Team is a subset of the broader Digital team and we partner with Sales teams and Relationship Managers to identify and market to key
clients both existing and targets that represent an opportunity to focus on Digital lead solutions and services. Growing the Digital product sets, driving
transformation discussions with clients or market segments, enabling the technology engagement early and architecting the end to end solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct environmental scanning, research on latest digital industry trends, covering payments, trade and financing;
  • Understand digital needs of DBS core markets, trends and developing initiatives that are applicable to the geographies;
  • Analyze, uncover missed opportunities across industries and geographies for large corporates and SME, recommend new digital opportunities for the business;
  • Develop and execute the ecosystem and engagement strategy:
    • Agencies: Nation or industry-wide agencies;
    • Large Corps: Large entities that can shape the value chain;
    • Service Providers: ERP/Logistics/Online sites with a large base and network effect;
    • Targeted SME industries: Segments that are digitally impacted or ready for digital adoption;
  • Liaise with RMs to engage anchor large corporations with an end objective of capturing their buyers and suppliers as our potential customers;
  • Able to think strategically on the products/services that can be jointly created with target industry partners;
  • Lead and facilitate discussions with partners to jointly create products and services for customers;
  • Manage relationships with partners and ensure business targets are achieved.

Requirements
  • Between 12 to 15 years in ecommerce / financial services / management consulting or related industries;
  • Good understanding of Transaction Banking related products would be an advantage;
  • Basic understanding of digital toolsets such as Cloud, API's, Machine Learning, Data Analytics, Blockchain and Digital Wallets is a key requirement;
  • Experience in dealing with eMarketplace or mCommerce companies is an added advantage;
  • Experience in providing cash or trade finance solutions to specific industry verticals;
  • Demonstrated success in client engagement and engaging internal partners to designing solutions, track record of delivering impactful business solutions;
  • Experience in working cross-functionally and across regions and functions to drive partnership development, program success and KPIs;
  • Excellent relationship building skills;
  • Highly adaptable, self-starter, ability to deal with ambiguity, thrives in fast-moving and high-growth environments, bias towards action.
