Candidate will work closely with consumer investment product teams across the region to grow business revenue by sourcing best-in-class products from various counterparties and leveraging on product specialist & research expertise of PB product teams. Candidate will also facilitate performance measurement so as to maximise sales effectiveness of Treasures & Retail segments. Responsibilities 1) Support development & implementation of regional investment product proposition for Treasures & Retail segment product needs while align to established Portfolio & Advisory framework for higher Wealth segments . 2) Assist in product initiatives to support market product range expansion, provide oversight & guidance on new products development and roll-out, including co-ordination of process, system enhancements and infrastructure development essential for business growth in both core and growth markets. 3) Work with countries to develop investment product strategy and engagement activities with Franchise & Distribution stakeholders to drive towards achieving both in-country & regional Investment product budget targets and growth plans. 4) Drive regional standardisation, alignment of processes & product development framework through knowledge & success transfers across the countries. 5) Work with Regional stakeholders to ensure effective & timely dissemination of key guidelines, practises and regulatory related information/developments for implementation and necessary adherence by the country product teams. Key Duties 1) Develop and implement a regional investment products proposition for Non-AI/PI market segments in core and growth markets. 2) Work with countries to assess new product ideas or initiatives and collaborate with regional teams e.g Fund Selection Team, Product Due Diligence, COO office etc and provide regional clearance before product ideas are submitted to regional Product Approval Committee for approval. 3) Work with regional platform team to ensure key strategic system implementations & enhancements are on target for delivery and to explore future infrastructure developments to drive the digital and business objectives. 4) Cascade guidelines, practises, market and regulatory developments to the country product teams. 5) Act as the primary point of contact for regional product development and product assistance regarding functionality, use, value proposition and strategy. 6) Develop annual business plan with management team to set goals, service expectations, market strategy, competitive advantage, profitability and revenue goals and tracks progress to plan. 7) Track, measure, monitor and report product usage, as well as ongoing product life cycle management across region. 8) To have a keen understanding and full awareness of, and adherence to, in-country regulatory framework, rules of engagement in the sales and marketing of Investment products, as well as legal and compliance guidelines. Requirements Experience The ideal candidate should have minimum 10 years' recent experience in an equivalent role demonstrating advanced understanding of Wealth Management products, services, solutions, industry requirements, and legal/regulatory requirements, within the financial services industry. Have performed strategic business planning functions with the ability to quickly grasp and understand the Bank's business and strategic goals and objectives. Prior experience in managing platform & systems implementation and working knowledge of technology developments would be a plus. The candidate has to be meticulous, driven, analytical, strong appreciation of processes and exhibits ability to take charge, lead and drive all functions to deliver the business objectives in a fast-paced service focused environment. Education University/graduate degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Marketing or relevant discipline. Work Relationship The ideal candidate will have excellent interpersonal relationship skills, with an ability to carry self in senior executive meetings and presentations. The candidate should possess strong influencing skills with a collaborative mind-set and will need to manage both external and internal stakeholders to aid the country product teams in achieving the regional investment product budget, development and long-term strategy plans.
