Our client in a multinational reinsurance brokerage company. Reporting to the Head of operations, you will provide prompt and effective compliance service for Singapore operations, and promoting compliance culture across the company.
About the job
You will implement and develop compliance policy framework and undertake compliance related projects. You will be responsible to liasie with head office to ensure local rules and regulations are adhere to, proactively contibute and advice the business on reglatory matters. You will contribute in the development of risk frameworks, attend business unit meetings, drafting and producing compliance reports, training and guidelines. You will maintain oversight of compliance projects and work closely with business units to understand the regulatory risk profiles of their business activities.
Skills and Experience required
Degree in Banking/Finance/Accountancy or in any relevant discipline, with at least 8 years of regulatory compliance experience in the reinsurance/insurance brokerage sector. In order to succeed in this role, you should possess excellent stakeholder management and communication skills and be able to front discussions with external regulators e.g. MAS.
