Regulatory Reporting PMO - AVP
Job Description

The Regulatory Reporting PMO will develop a consolidated ongoing view of key reporting metrics, regulator inquiries, quality assurance assessments and initiatives to provide the management team and senior stakeholders with:

1) transparency into regulatory reporting performance and

2) sufficient information to make informed regulatory reporting related decisions.

The AVP will work with directs and program stream leads globally to develop the appropriate MIS, artefacts and governance materials to support the initiative.


  • Develop a PMO framework which provide a transparency of regulatory projects against KPIs

  • Develop and maintain a detailed global book of work spanning across regulatory implementations, internal/external reviews, and QA programmes

  • Assesses risks and drive actions to address the root causes that persistently lead to operational risk losses by challenging both historical and proposed practices.

  • Governance and oversight may include (not limited to) technology operational risk, risk for example.

  • Establish and maintain a robust control environment and culture within the Citi businesses worldwide.

  • Assist management in achieving and maintaining strategic objectives, promotes efficiency, reduces the risk of loss and helps ensure compliance with corporate policies, procedures, laws and regulatory requirements.

  • Assist in assessing current status of all regulation related controls

  • Recommend control enhancements as needed

  • Identify best practices to be shared with global Citi businesses

  • Establish a rapport with Business Managers, Compliance, Internal Audit and Legal.

  • Develop a broad and detailed understanding of the organization's landscape, culture and technology.

  • Understand the various businesses and the applicable regulations which govern

  • Has the ability to operate with a limited level of direct supervision.

  • Exercise independence of judgement and autonomy.

  • Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behaviour, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency, as well as effectively supervise the activity of others and create accountability with those who fail to maintain these standards.


  • PMO experience is a must

  • Knowledge of regulatory reporting such as HKMA, MAS, ASIC and JFSA is highly desirable

  • Management of a global operations and a complex environment that includes global teams.

  • Excellent communication skills - verbal & written


  • Bachelor's/University degree, Master's degree preferred
