Our client is looking for an ambitious individual with good knowledge of APAC regulatory requirements looking to utilise their skills and expterise to design and shape the regulatory reporting framework of their organisation and drive implementation

about the job

As a member of their regulatory reporting team, you will be leading up and driving the regulatory reporting environment for an established international bank. This is an exciting opportunity to drive and shape regulatory frameworks as well as implement local and APAC regulatory requirements for operations within the capital markets. As such, you can expect to be exposed to key senior management and liaise with key stakeholders across the business as well as with risk, compliance and operations. Other responsibilities include:

  • Design risk and control framework for regulatory reporting in compliance with regulatory requirements in APAC
  • Manage APAC Trade reporting (Front-to Back requirement and solution) and Operations regulatory reporting for Investment Banking Business to ensure compliance
  • Work closely with Internal Stakeholder (Front Office/ Trade Management/Ref Data/ Ops/ IT) to highlight potential impact and proposing work-around options to ensure adherence to all regulations
  • Design the model for quality assurance testing for regulatory reporting in APAC

skills and experience required

  • Bachelor's degree in finance/accountancy/banking
  • At least 6 years experinece in a role dealing with implementation of regulatory reporting for operations
  • Experience in change management and good knowledge of trade / trasanction reporting
  • Good knowledge of APAC regulatory reforms (ASIC/HK/MAS/JFSA)
  • Ability to coordinate with multiple stakeholders, and provide solutions to mutifacted problems
