Our client is a global Leader in the Energy Services and we are assisting to them hire a Regional Finance Business Partner to be responsible for commercial and financial planning activities in SEA. Our client is looking for someone 10-15 years of experience in commercial finance to work directly with APAC CFO.

Responsibilities;

  • Participate in and advise on business cases with appropriate financial modelling, planning and analysis and risk management
  • Support new business and business developmental activities by collaborating with business leaders to grow business in SEA profitably
  • Contribute to creation of and then implementation of financial programs and supporting information systems of the business in SEA to include budgeting, tax planning, GST returns, real estate and conservation of assets
  • Consolidate SEA management reporting including the provision of commercial and business commentary and analyses and provide guidance for future planning
  • Drive SEA compliance with company global policies, procedures, practices and guidelines including Code of Business Conduct and Ethics
  • Ensure SEA compliance with budgetary and financial reporting requirements
  • Manage SEA Budget and Forecast in accordance to HO timelines and instructions
  • Ensure necessary statutory compliance, licensing and insurances for company businesses in SEA
  • Assist with internal and external auditing procedures, review audit reports and drive corrective actions as required in the SEA operation
  • Ensure compliance with internal control mechanisms 
  • Manage accounting, financial reporting, treasury and banking issues
  • Manage ad hoc reporting to APAC HO 

Requirements;

  • Minimum 10-15 years of experience in commercial finance roles within ASEAN countries.
  • Professional qualification of CPA / CA is a must 
  • Track record in commercial and finance management across ASEAN and preferably having experience of working within a shared services environment 
  • Commercial understanding – ability to understand commercial requirements in ASEAN countries and be able to assist in risk management and facilitate discussions in line with regional directives
  • Ability to lead, motivate and energize people to co-operate and perform well-defined action plans
  • Problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment 
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with significant commercial business experience and knowledge 
  • Able to deliver measurable results under pressure and strict deadlines
  • Experience within an SAP environment will be beneficial
