About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for the planning and execution of business change initiatives for the Financial Markets (FM) business. The role will support a variety of business projects, primarily focused on regulatory change, and will involve working with multiple business partners including Banking, Operations, Technology, Risk, Legal and Compliance.
The candidate must have experience working in a fast paced, demanding environment and have proven track record in successfully delivering change.

Roles & Responsibilities
    Support change management initiatives for the FM business, keeping in mind the relevance to business strategy and key priorities. Maintain a view of the pipeline of regulatory change impacting the FM business, drive the impact analysis and develop a strategic implementation plan for the business. Responsible for ensuring overall planning, tracking and reporting of all milestones, tasks and deliverables including inter-dependencies across all projects. Proactively identify and mitigate risks which may have an impact on costs / delivery timelines. Provide updates to the governance forums (PSC/PgSC, etc) and key stakeholders on the project status, risks and issues throughout the project lifecycle. Liaise with stakeholders and business support partners to resolve issues and solve problems. Ensure compliance with the SCB Project Management Standards.
Our Ideal Candidate
    Knowledge of Financial Markets' products and key global regulations. Exceptional organisational, problem solving and written / verbal communication skills Flexible and adaptable; able to work in ambiguous situations. Resilient and tenacious with a propensity to persevere. Problem solving and root cause identification skills - i.e. methodical and thorough. Must be a team player and able to work collaboratively with others. Experience in managing multiple projects (scheduling, resource planning, and managing budgets) ensuring projects are completed at a high level of quality and within approved budget, scope and schedule. Knowledge of SCB processes, governance and standards for project / programme management and risk management preferred. Prior experience in front office / business is advantageous.
