Professional Services Consultant

Job Overview:
The person in the Electronic Trading, Professional Services team will be mainly working at the client site and will be in charge of the implementation of our solution. He/She will provide status report of the projects, ensuring a high-quality delivery and scalable solution for our customers.
This role also spans over critical production incident support, process solution design, engineering studies, tailor-made solution specification and problem management.

Responsibilities

  • As FIS product advisor, you will be the first point of contact when working on client site or will have to assist the Sales in pre-sales engagements when off-site.
  • Risk management and issues tracking till resolution
  • Knowledge of Linux environment with good level understanding of network.
  • Hands-on implementation of FIS solution following our best practices.
  • Coordinate with various internal teams including infrastructure, support, development team or Sales team to ensure the success of the delivery.
  • Lead the system integration testing and client support testing.
  • Manage the whole cycle of the project from initiation to closing with a clear focus on the scope validation, project plan, schedule and tracking on effort spent.
  • Ensure timely reporting is done to internal stakeholders and external clients.
  • Coordinate with other technical departments for cross products project.
  • Though extremely occasional, on-site support of the FIS system during major production incident could be required when support resource needs help.

Requirements
  • At least 5-6 years of professional experience or one good experience related to the job description
  • Implementation, support or development position
  • Knowledge or experience of Financial software industry
  • Knowledge or experience of APEX solution
