Portfolio and Process Manager, Group Risk Management - Emerging Business Risk

Roles & Responsibilities:
  • As a member of the Portfolio Management Team responsible for the overall performance of the EmB lending portfolio, you are part of a team that manages the EmB borrowing accounts through:
    • Timely review of early warning high risk accounts and take preventive measures
    • Partner with Business Unit and Collections on account strategy of high risk accounts
    • Rehabilitation of troubled accounts through restructuring of facilities
    • Perform customer calls or site visits with Business Units where necessary for credit assessment
    • Monitor and track status of rehabilitated accounts to ensure that the restructuring plans are being adhered
    • Monitor and notate borrowing accounts requiring credit conditions e.g. contract financing
    • Involved with monthly Non-Performing Loan and analytical reports
  • As a Process Manager, you are responsible for the overall processes for Emerging Business Risk. You will work with both Credit Approval and Portfolio Management Team Leaders to:
o A utomate and machine learn, existing approving, monitoring and account curing processes to enhance productivity and efficiency
o Automate and provide information on status of various responsibilities of Credit Approving and Portfolio Monitoring
o Provide 'last mile' analytics and obtain insights to customer credit behaviors, with data from Portfolio Analytics team and other sources
o Work with Business Functions on digitalization, automation and AI credit applications from a credit risk standpoint




Qualifications
Requirements:
  • At least 4 years of credit analysis and/or frontline experience
  • Good understanding of business banking products and industries
  • Good MS Excel, Visual Basic and Statistical Analysis System (SAS) skills
  • Possess strong interpersonal, communication and effective negotiation skills
  • Self-motivated and able to work both independently and within a team
