The candidate will be responsible to facilitate the research for a global balanced portfolio. The candidate will also work closely with the US office to present the research findings and generate investment ideas.

The firm uses a disciplined investment process that focuses on macro-economic research, company fundamentals, and valuation with the goal of achieving long term out performance. Specific duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Involve in all aspects of the Fund’s operations including securities settlement, pre-trade and post-trade processes, calculation of NAV and reconciliation of various accounts
  • Maintain and improvise on current compliance standards and procedures
  • Prepare the Fund’s performance analytics and weekly reports
  • Develop a good understanding of macro-economics, interest rates, and relevant fixed income knowledge
  • Develop a deep understanding of investment universe including key company and industry drivers and demonstrate strong day to day coverage of relevant knowledge
  • Proactively utilize independent judgment to formulate opinions and make investment recommendations and take ownership in the research process
  • Demonstrate consistent teamwork and strong communication within the team
  • Assist in all other necessary ad-hoc duties and responsibilities

Skills and Qualifications 

  • University degree holders with specialization in Finance, Economics or Mathematics
  • Inquisitive nature, fast-learner and driven to excel in all aspects
