Portfolio Administration; Mezzanine Capital Unit (Private Equity & Special Opportunities)

  • Maintain and update the department's central investment and cash flow database
  • Prepare analysis of department's financial and investment performance for management reporting monthly
  • Prepare internal and external reports for regular submission
  • Coordinate with the investment team on matters relating to funding, booking, valuation and accounting of new investments
  • Coordinate with the investment team to monitor and notify investees of key compliance events/dates, financial covenants and undertakings
  • Responsible for corporate secretariat matters relating to investment vehicles, including the preparation of resolutions, updating of authorized signatures, renewal of power of attorney, opening of banking and securities accounts, etc.
  • Liaise with external and internal auditors during audit exercises
  • Assist in the annual operating plan (OP) exercise


Qualifications
  • A good university degree, preferably in Accounting or Finance
  • 3 to 4 years or more working experience in the banking and finance industry (middle office, finance and accounting) with at least 2 years in an MIS reporting/ business planning function
  • Familiarity of private equity industry is a plus
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Meticulous and detailed-oriented with a flair for numbers
  • Excellent Microsoft Office skills (especially Excel and PowerPoint)
  • High proficiency in Mandarin preferred as required to deal with Chinese clients
