Business Analyst – CFCC Change:

 

A key role focused on process reengineering / business transformation in the CFCC (Conduct, Financial Crime & Compliance) Change team which operates as the central engagement point for Compliance with other business areas and Information Technology & Operations (ITO) in connection with the business and infrastructure change needs. The CFCC Change team is responsible for defining and driving the target operating model and architecture strategy for the CFCC function and ensuring the delivery of CFCC business change projects. The CFCC Change team plays a pivotal role in improving solution alignment, delivering quality, and realising resource and budget efficiencies through a centre of excellence approach.

 

Key Roles & Responsibilities

  • Drive CFCC process reengineering and business transformation, interacting with business stakeholders and subject matter experts in order to understand their problems and needs
  • Understand the key business drivers for an optimised CFCC target operating model taking a holistic view of business needs, gathering business requirements and identifying opportunities
  • Analyze and critically evaluate information from multiple sources, determining and effectively representing information at appropriate levels of abstraction, reconciling conflicts and gaining consensus to establish true business needs
  • Manage the technology team interface, liaising with technology teams continuously to ensure clarity on business requirements and working with development leads to ensure business requirements are met in solutions design, development and delivery
  • Contribute to and review functional and system requirement specifications
  • Contribute to an appropriately phased implementation strategy and commercialisation approach across geographies and business units
  • Manage User Acceptance Testing and support implementation and post go-live issue resolution
  • Ensure key delivery / implementation risks and issues are identified, and support establishment of appropriate mitigation / action plans throughout
  • Ensure communication and training needs are met through the provision of content and context for user guides / training materials and training delivery to end users

 

Qualifications & Skills

  • Strong full-life-cycle project experience
  • Strong process re-engineering, systems implementation and business change experience
  • Strong experience managing detailed requirements across a broad domain
  • Strong ability to document business / task / workflow analysis
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities, detail oriented and proficient with highly structured approaches aligned with project / change management best practices
  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written, with an ability to interact effectively with stakeholders across bank-wide functions
  • CFCC domain experience would be advantageous
  • A minimum of 8 years’ experience with 5 years’ relevant experience in project initiatives
  • Degree or diploma qualified in a relevant field
  • Must be based in Singapore, relocation is not provided

  • Previous consulting experience
  • Knowledge of regulatory frameworks and Banking regulations
