For every new product launched and every trade executed, it is Operations that develops and manages the processes and controls that enable business flow.

Are you looking for a role where you can support different products and businesses? We have a rare opportunity whereby the successful candidate will support products ranging from foreign exchange, commodities, credit, Equity, Interest Rates, Repo, Insurance/Pensions and bespoke structured derivatives and arrangements. You will help manage a wide range of complex processes, whilst developing skills and competencies around derivative & security products and their respective business areas, legal agreements, technology flows and regulations.

The Margin Lending team, part of Margin, Collateral and Valuations Operations sits within the Goldman Sachs Liquidity and Collateral organization. A global, cross product function, the primary objective of the department is the management of PB and PWM client portfolios through the active monitoring of clients' derivative and securities financing positions. Margin Lending has a presence in in Salt Lake City, New York, London, Bangalore and Singapore working closely together on a daily basis.


  • Evaluate clients' portfolio (physical and derivative instruments) in accordance to risk/control/margin standards and policies. Business supported - PWM, PB and GSEC.
  • Interact with sales, trading or other operations areas to ensure that rules and regulations of regulatory bodies and company policies are adhered to prepare statistical reports, control reports to internal groups.
  • Liaise with Federation parties eg. Credit, Legal, Compliance and business partners in delivering solutions to margin monitoring issues.
  • Work with global team to review process and procedures to identify areas of inconsistency and opportunities for efficiency.

Basic Qualifications

  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Preferably 2-4 years experience in this industry
