Overview of Division/Department

Our General Administration (GAD), a member of our Asia & Oceania Administration Department, supports the Singapore Office with 4 functions (Expenses, Singapore Coordination, Secretarial Support and General Affairs) which include general expense, coordination and liaison between Head Office and other divisions, secretarial support, Japanese welfare, office administration, facility management and communications.

Job Responsibilities
Your key roles & responsibilities include:
1) Financial Reporting (to start from assisting other senior to prepare reports)
- Asset / Liability Management report (weekly, monthly, ad hoc)
- Inter-office profit / asset adjustment (monthly, and liaison with other departments, branches)
- Assisting in data mining work on profit and asset data upon requests from other Divisions
- Assisting management and the team on various coordination and administrative tasks such as meeting preparatio

2) Administration
- Meeting coordination (monthly set up, minutes)
- Mizuho Singapore Branch Web coordination (liaison with HO and related parties)
- Update organization chart (monthly)
- Internal publication administration (broadcasting of HO Management announcement / distribution of internal publication etc)
- HO Reports in Japanese (branch update etc)
- Any other ad hoc administrative tasks

3) Budget
- Monitoring of Reward / Conference Application and Budget

4) Any other ad hoc project and regular support to Manager and SH and Management

Job Requirements
What you should have
• Diploma in any discipline – a major in Finance, Accounting, or Information Technology will be an advantage
• At least 1-3 years of work experience preferred (Fresh graduate is also considered depending on the skill set)
• Proficiency in MS Excel (Advanced Level is a big advantage)
- must have knowledge on various functions, Pivot, Macro
• Knowledge of Hyperion will be an advantage
• The ability to be a team player who is considerate, meticulous with numbers, eyes on details, willing to try new things, and ready to persevere with a positive attitude in difficult times will help the candidate perform successfully in this role
• Proficiency in English and Japanese, as the incumbent is expected to communicate, as well as read and understand documents, in this language
