Department: Markets Operations
  • Responsible for end - to - end processing and supporting (including settlements and confirmation generation) of  Markets products
Primary Job Responsibilities:
  • In-depth knowledge of Commodities products and related processes.
  • Client-facing liaison with Asia-Pacific based counterparties providing same day support for inquiries related to trade discrepancies, Confirmations, and Settlements
  • Responsible for confirmations delivery, outstanding follow up and execution
  • Reconcile and resolve breaks relating to physical gold stock / loan balances against our vault partners and/or clients
  • Handle physical gold overdraft loan interest computation and issuance of invoice
  • Partner with eClerx on daily BAU and provide necessary guidance. 
  • Data maintenance
  • Devise and implement process improvements
  • Partner with IT and our APAC entities on systems enhancements and development
  • Participate and manage projects for Operations side
  • Responsible for consistently meeting KPIs
  • Maintain and update process documentation
  • Maintains and enhances communications with business and other internal constituencies
  • Ensures participation and successful Continuity-Of-Business testing
  • Adhere to audit readiness control environment


Qualifications

  • Hands-on experience in Treasury Products with 3 - 5 years of working experience in a Treasury Operations preferably Commodities
  • Ability to work in a structured, high volume, time-sensitive, high-risk, demanding environment
  • Possess good analytical skill, meticulous, positive attitude and good learning ability with great attention to details and multi tasking
  • Good interpersonal, communication and presentation skill
  • Proficient in MS software
  • Bachelors degree (or equivalent) required. Prior experience in managing a small to mid size team will be an added advantage
  • Open to work on public holidays and weekends
