S&P Global Market Intelligence The Role: Senior Associate / Associate Director, Maritime Risk and Compliance Sales
An experienced, self-motivated professional who will lead sales and growth of a market leading suite of Trade Finance Compliance and Maritime Risk products within the ASEAN region.

What's in it for you: You will report to the Head of Sales, South APAC and will be focused on the banking & corporate sectors, focusing on Risk and Compliance use-cases. The successful candidate will have experience in either the Trade Finance, Ports and Logistics or Commodity Owners workflows, and the software and solutions relevant in these markets.
You will be responsible for evolving our strategy in the region and executing efficiently. This will include working closely with product, marketing, Subject Matter Experts, Account Management, and multiple other teams to support the strategy.
Responsibilities: - Drive sustained growth in the core sectors
- Research and prospect accounts to identify key contacts
- Develop targeted multi-channel campaigns to generate new business opportunities
- Engage in C level conversations designed to discover sales opportunities and drive from a senior level
- Provide product feedback and support in concept development
- Manage and maintain accurate Salesforce.com notes and data to illustrate work activities and sales pipeline data
What We're Looking For: You are a focused and high energy individual who thrives on driving new business growth. You are fully able to understand a customer's workflow challenges, the key responsibilities of their role and have a superior ability to map out the priority deliverables to help them achieve their aims. You are familiar with the challenger sale approach and can teach, tailor, and take control of the sales process. Your curiosity to understand your customers world and deep work ethic to deliver solutions is key to your success.
Key Qualifications and Skills:
- Exceptional communicator, both written and verbally
- Proven ability of closing large value sales across multiple stakeholders at various seniority levels
- Deep network of contacts across sanctions and compliance or within trade finance and export control is an advantage
- 6+ years' experience with a sanctions and compliance software vendor or similar with exposure to regulatory activity is an advantage
- Knowledge and experience of export compliance, trade finance regulation, economic sanctions are an advantage
Grade ( relevant for internal applicants only ): 10-11 (S&P Global)
The Location: Singapore, Kuala Lumpur or Penang
