1-2 years sales/customer service experience, preferably in the financial or capital markets industry
Responsibilities:
A New Business Consultant is responsible for all aspects of the sales process, including:
- Assisting with inbound sales queries via phone, email, live chat and walk-ins
- Conversion of prospective clients from various sources into active clients
- Proactive and efficient management of the account opening process, from the initial query through to the client’s initial funding
- Identifying customer requirements and needs, and communicating IG’s capabilities to address those needs
- Educating prospects and clients about IG’s product offerings, platform features and tools
- Acquisition of new accounts by attending seminars, exhibitions and other promotional activities
- Conducting platform walk through sessions with individuals and small sized group seminars
- Keeping abreast with industry and competitor developments
- Providing feedback on processes, activities and new initiatives
