Microservices Application Support - Group Operations & Technology
  • Partner with Development & Prod-Ops team to establish the guideline for Monitoring, Alerting, Troubleshooting for Production Microservices ecosystem based on Red Hat OpenShift Platform.
  • Responsible for the availability/reliability of Production Microservices Applications by day-to-day monitoring, analysing & reporting of both Application and Platform KPIs.
  • Own the production incidents & drive the troubleshooting exercise to come up with the required fix-implementation within the defined SLA by interacting with Dev team.
  • Conducting post-mortem analysis for the Prod incidents and maintaining the incident report with appropriate documentation.
  • Coordinate change approval process to ensure all the recommended configuration & tuning parameters w.r.t the framework is part of Production Release.


Qualifications
  • Minimum Bachelor of Computer Science Degree with equivalent work experience of 8+ years.
  • Minimum 5 years of hands on experience in Enterprise Production Support system.
  • Minimum of 3 years of hands on experience in supporting container technology such as Red Hat OpenShift, Docker, Kubernetes, Service mesh and Dev Ops Tools such as Jenkins, Ansible, Bitbucket.
  • Minimum 3 years of hands on experience in Unix/RHEL and Scripting.
  • Thorough understanding & hands on experience of 3+ years in Microservices ecosystem and Service oriented architecture.
  • Good Knowledge of application monitoring tools such as CA Wily, Grafana, Elastic Search, Kibana and Prometheus.
  • Ability to work effectively in small (often ad-hoc) teams, experience in managing a team of associates.
  • Ability to manage stakeholders & experience in presenting to the senior management.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience in banking/finance industry is a plus.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Positive attitude towards continuous learning.
  • Willingness to work in shifts to manage the Enterprise Open Shift Platform.
