Markets - Corporate Salesperson Analyst
The Corporate Salesperson is a developing professional role. Deals with most problems independently and has some latitude to solve complex problems. Integrates in-depth specialty area knowledge with a solid understanding of industry standards and practices. Good understanding of how the team and area integrate with others in accomplishing the objectives of the subfunction/ job family. Applies analytical thinking and knowledge of data analysis tools and methodologies. Requires attention to detail when making judgments and recommendations based on the analysis of factual information. Typically deals with variable issues with potentially broader business impact. Applies professional judgment when interpreting data and results. Breaks down information in a systematic and communicable manner. Developed communication and diplomacy skills are required in order to exchange potentially complex/sensitive information. Moderate but direct impact through close contact with the businesses' core activities. Quality and timeliness of service provided will affect the effectiveness of own team and other closely related teams.


  • Part of the Markets Corporate Sales and Solutions team, based in Singapore

  • Actively stay informed of changes in a dynamic, competitive marketplace and constantly changing regulatory environment in various countries within Asia

  • Ensure all desk activities are carried out in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations, including internal Citi policies, and to the highest ethical standards

  • Focus on corporate clients for FX related business with independent coverage of own portfolio of clients

  • To drive E-commerce solutions for FX and to increase E-penetration for the team's overall portfolio of corporate clients.

  • Work closely with Relationship Managers in developing and deepening client relationships

  • Prospect and develop new client relationships to grow client FX/FXO wallet share


  • Degree in Business related discipline

  • Prior experience in a markets or banking sales/coverage role will be an added advantage

  • Broad knowledge of currency options, derivatives and e-commerce solutions for FX

  • Working knowledge of financial accounting principles, company balance sheets and understanding of corporate finance

  • Strong analytical skills, with an eye for details coupled with good oral/written communication skills

  • Strong interpersonal skills and a good team player who is flexible and adaptable, able to work within a dynamic team

  • Comfortable handling multiple tasks, projects, initiatives simultaneously in a timely manner

  • Self motivated individual, highly resourceful

  • Sets and achieves results with minimum support and is decisive; quickly moves issues to resolution

  • Mature, professional and objective when dealing with others

  • Self-starter with a highly motivated, entrepreneurial attitude

  • Able to build relationships with related sales and solutions groups across markets and banking to help source origination opportunities and promote cross selling across business lines

  • Bachelors/University degree or equivalent experience
