The IAM/B2B Segment is responsible to drive the business strategy and operating model of Independent Asset Managers (IAM) client segment, to strengthen the wealth management platform with differentiated and specialized product and services, to deliver high standard service in an efficient setup, as well as to define and produce business analytics to support business development, governance and decision-making.
Job Overview Dedicated Segment business resource to support the IAM/B2B Segment Head in articulating and executing the strategy to develop and grow the IAM/B2B business across all markets, working with key stakeholders from Front Office, IT, Legal, Compliance and Finance as well as with IAM and other B2B clients to understand and address issues from a technical and operational perspective.
Platform Development and Analytics
  • Translate/communicate between FO/Busines stakeholders, Product Owners and IT teams
  • Produce Platform roadmap, present to C-level when required, clear communication and active engagement with FO across markets on platform deliverables
  • Represent Segment in respective Product Squad and quarterly committee meetings, prioritize deliverables effectively
  • Own the IAM related solutions, produce data mapping & logic validation, UAT and project sign off
  • Challenge IT when required on solution options and track technical delivery
  • Define the matrix of business analytics, develop the business dashboard to monitor business growth, and business analytics to identify business opportunities and issues to support management decision making
Business Strategy and Tactical Initiatives
  • Produce business strategy deck, run PSC / Working Group, present to C-level and various forum of stakeholders and steering committee
  • Assist Segment Head to align the strategy with key stakeholders
  • Drive the delivery and implementation of strategic/tactical initiatives from end to end
  • Prepare the monthly Segment meeting & management update
  • Run workshop, marketing events, periodical internal/external communication/ update on strategy development
Governance and Risk Control
  • Oversee the IAM Governance and Business Control team
  • Support the team to Implement the IAM policies, procedures and operating manuals
  • Chair IAM Policy & Procedure Working Group
  • Exception approval and register maintenance
IAM Servicing
Oversee and lead the Singapore Servicing team to
  • provide supports to front office in the areas of business development, IAM onboarding, periodical review, ongoing relationship maintenance and general services etc
  • Handle IAMs' enquiries and instructions to provide timely services
  • Provide IAM digital onboarding
  • Keep a record of client and FO feedback
Operational Risk Management
  • Be the Operational Risk Partner of the department
  • Promote the Operational Risk framework, risk awareness to the team
  • Implement the ORP framework effectively and timely
Team management and People Management
  • Ensure the team Observing BOS policies and regulations at all times, include code of conduct, suitability, cross border restrictions and relevant ordinances of HK and Singapore
  • Observing internal guidelines and maintaining data confidentiality
  • Ensuring regulatory/ internal policies are implemented and executed accordingly
  • Train and guide the juniors and fresh graduates of the team


Qualifications
  • Min 10 - 15 years' experience
  • Holds a bachelor's degree, or equivalent. The role is major agnostic, but it is well suited to business/economics/IT majors.
  • Understand the private banking business, direct working experience in IAM/B2B domain will be a plus
  • Proven track record of project management and delivering cross-functional projects on time
  • Background in Product Delivery, Agile and /or Business Case development will be ideal
  • Analytical, meticulous, attention to details, a demonstrated ability to work independently under time pressure, from start to finish
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to work as an integral part of a larger team, over multiple, concurrent project/tasks, across a variety of topics
  • Highly energetic and affirmative, with a positive, influential style even in the face of challenging circumstances
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Fluency in English.
  • Competency with the most commonly used within the Microsoft Office suite (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint) is required
  • Good understanding and skill in data analytics or programming is a plus
