Job Purpose:

This role will assist the APAC Lending head to drive Citi's continued leadership in unsecured lending including cards lending, ready credit and unsecured  personal loans.  This role focuses on Lending product development, marketing, acquisition channel deployment, user experience and sales management

Key Responsibilities :
  • Provide overall lending product strategy for APAC.  Define lending target segments and ensure all borrowing needs of this segment are appropriately serviced thru our lending product continiuum
  • Deliver profitability and drivers targets for all unsecured lending products across 16 markets .  Ensure return matrix and corporate hurdles are met
  • Partner closely with finance on expense management to drive operating efficiencies
  • Maintain close dialogue with country's Cards and Lending heads on latest market development, regulatory changes, area of concerns etc.  Provide overall governance to markets regulatory and C itigroup compliance. ensure all lending products offered in markets are strictly complied with local and global regulatory requirements and Citibank policies
  • Conduct regular review with global on lending progress.  Advocate APAC lending growth and strength.
  • Specific responsibilities to drive profitability and drivers growth are:
  • Product development - create unique value proposition of lending.  manage the entire life cycle of lending products including competitor benchmarking, new product design and structure, technology enhancement etc to attract/retain balances
  • Sales management - work with different channels such as TM, branch and Citiphone to remove obstacles and enable sales momentum
  • Risk Optimization - work with risk to identify opportunities on line actions and eligible universe


Knowledge/Experience/Technical S kills:
  • At least 10+ years of experience
  • Thorough understanding of cards and lending business.  Strong product and sales management experience
  • Understand the profitability of cards and lending business

  • Strong Marketing and analytical skills 
  • Strong organisation and program execution skills
