The ETrading Client Services team services Saxo Bank’s institutional API clients. We manage clients through the pre-sales and onboarding phase, monitor their execution & liquidity, and deal with any issues that may arise. We are a global team working across Saxo Bank’s offices in London, Copenhagen, and Singapore, operating 24/5½ on behalf of our clients.

The role of Junior Project Manager has three broad responsibilities:

Pre-Sales & Onboarding: managing the onboarding of new clients

  • Managing pipeline management & lead evaluation
  • Client needs/offering gap analysis & explanation (internal & external)
  • Demo client configuration, development assistance, and support
  • Live client configuration, certification & hypercare

Live Trading: post go-live management of clients

  • Setup issue troubleshooting/resolution
  • Credit monitoring
  • Liquidity & execution monitoring, evaluation, optimization
  • Liquidity Provider & vendor testing/UAT
  • Ad-hoc reporting & investigation

Problem Resolution: issue management & resolution for clients

  • Properly logging & managing cases in Saxo Bank’s case management system
  • Client contact & communication to keep them informed & manage expectations
  • Diagnosis, workaround, and resolution of problems (internal, vendor, LP): direct or specification
  • Specification & managing follow-up with appropriate department for fixes
  • Log analysis & end-to-end traces of  issues
  • Matching & exposure break resolution



The position holder must have the following:


  • A degree in a numerate subject, ex. economics/finance, mathematics, or the sciences preferred
  • At least 1 year of work experience in a role or internship that involved working with data (ex. reporting, reconciliation, analysis) is an advantage
  • Past experience in a customer-facing or support role is an advantage
  • Capable of participating in the team’s 24/5½ shift coverage. Singapore’s early shift starts at 6am, and rotates weekly between team members

Skills & Knowledge:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Proficiency/native speaker of Mandarin Chinese or Japanese
  • Past experience participating in project work, planning, or in support of a project manager
  • Past experience preparing documentation, presentations, or proposals
  • Past experience communicating  directly with clients in-person or via phone & email
  • Past experience working with a CRM or support ticketing system ex. Salesforce is an advantage
  • Past experience working with data in SQL, statistics software (R, Matlab, Python, etc.) is an advantage
  • Strong interest in finance or trading
  • Strong general IT/technical skills
