The Asia Markets Corporate Client Manager, will help execute our APAC region corporate client strategy and provide the underlying analytics to drive actions that deliver bottom line results for the core product areas (FX, Rates, Commodities, Equity Derivatives, Credit, etc.). Within that, s/he will create value-added insights and support the development of analytic capabilities to enhance the quality of client relationships while also boosting the effectiveness of our sales teams, collaborating with key stakeholders across products, regions and functions.
The candidate must be able to lead effectively in a cross functional environment without constant supervision and with colleagues in different geographic locations. The candidate should have business experience with strong analytical abilities.
Part of a team, the Markets Corporate Client Manager, will report into the Global head of Client Strategy (Markets Corporate Sales) and locally to the regional head of Corporate Sales & Solutions. In this capacity, s/he will work with global and other regional Client Strategy, Client Management, Product Sales as well as Technology and Finance, and will have exposure across Citi Markets and broader ICG.
Job Responsibilities:
  • Develop bespoke client and competitor insight and analyses
  • Develop expertise in all types of client data (e.g., wallet, gap, balance sheet metrics, expenses), able to read across and drive strategic analyses / outputs, and help identify opportunities to leverage them
  • Conduct bespoke client analysis and reporting (ad hoc as well as standard reporting)
  • Support development of analytics and data-related franchise capabilities
  • Partner with relevant stakeholders across business and functions (e.g., product and regional sales managers, product CAOs, ICG, Finance, Treasury, sales technology) to develop, design and  maintain desired functionality
  • Drive and ensure successful delivery, and provide project oversight / management as necessary
  • Work with Technology partners to provide access to data via product and finance technology platforms to target audience
  • Independently manage global as well as regional projects/ programs
  • Partner with relevant stakeholders and regional counterparts to drive planning and execution of project deliverables
  • Identify milestones and key enablers for successfully implementing initiatives outlined by global strategy team
  • Perform detailed synthesis of client and firm data available internally and externally to present meaningful findings to management and sales teams


  • 10+ years of experience in project management, strategy or sales preferred with understanding of Global Markets Products (FX, Rates, Commodities, Equities, Credit, etc.)
  • Strong presentation and relationship management skills are essential; this individual must be an articulate and effective communicator, both orally and in writing, with an energetic, charismatic and approachable style
  • Ability to navigate through a complex global organization and engage and work with Citi partners at all levels across Markets, BCMA, CCB and TTS
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines while maintaining a positive, professional attitude
  • Good understanding of CRM / Client Analytics
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Tools (e.g., Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel)
  • Personal impact - buy-in from senior stakeholders essential, gravitas, verbal & written communication
  • Team player  - work alongside existing team members, help share best practices & develop each other, work collaboratively with a wide range of partners outside team
