A in-country leadership role with an Asian bank.

Our client is a leading Asian bank with a strong regional presence. They are currently looking for a country Technology leader to provide leadership and direction to the Singapore technology teams.

Description

As a SG Head of IT, you will be overseeing a team of 40+ technology professionals in Singapore. You will be responsible for :

• Providing leadership and direction to the country IT teams.
  
• Leading the implementation of IT strategies, systems development and operations
  
• Formulating and driving Country IT blueprint strategy to transform the Bank to meet market demands on digitalization, big data, cloud and agile, IT policies and procedures, security, architecture, business solutions and enterprise MIS functional requirements
  
• Ensuring effective governance and controls framework are in place
  
• Supervising IT operations and systems performance on BAU basis, DR and BCP effectiveness, responsive rectification of production issues, and continuous improvement on operational efficiency.
  
• Overseeing new application/systems development, IT operations, infrastructure, information security, applications, project office and governance.
  

Profile

As a successful applicant, you will have a Degree in Computer Science and have at least 15 years experience working in the IT function within financial services industry. You will have at least 5 years of similar work experience in a leadership role managing a wide IT scope namely project management, applications management, data warehouse management, infrastructure & network, and IT security. You will have strong technical know-how and deep knowledge of a wide variety of banking systems, technologies and methods.

You would have led and successfully implemented large scale new systems at enterprise level that crosses multiple business or support functions.
